If you have bought a touring caravan then you want to take out the right type of policy for your needs. In this case you would have to take out touring insurance and if you plan on travelling outside of the UK and into Europe then you would need to take out European caravan insurance.

There are many benefits to taking out European cover when travelling around Europe. If you were to be involved in an accident whilst on the road in Europe then you could claim on the policy if you were to be involved in an accident. For instance some providers could offer you more days than others to put towards you being able to stay in alternative accommodation. They could also offer you more per day that other providers so this would have to be checked too when comparing the policy and what you get for the premiums you are asked to pay.
